Fluff Scarves by Great Adirondack

Materials: One skein of hand painted Fluff from Great Adirondack per scarf. Needle size # 13 for top 3 scarves and size #15 for V-scarf.

Fisherman’s Scarf
Top scarf with narrow section in the back to keep it smoothly on your neck. Cast on 20 stitches. Knit in garter stitch, (knit every row). Knit for 16 inches. Begin decrease. K1, knit 2 together at the beginning of each row until there are 12 stitches remaining. Continue to knit in the garter stitch until the center section measures 12 inches from the last decrease. Begin increases. Knit 1, Make 1 at the beginning of each row until there are 20 stitches on the needle again. Knit to the end of the skein saving about 45 inches of yarn to bind off with. Bind off all 20 stitches. Weave in ends. Scarf will be about 7 inches by 40 inches.

Straight Scarf
(Second from top) Cast on 17 to 20 stitches and knit every row in garter stitch. Save about 45 inches of yarn to bind of with. Bind off all stitches. Scarf will be approximately 6 inches by 40 inches.


Boa
(Third from top) Cast on 12 to 15 stitches and knit every row in garter stitch. Save about 30 inches of yarn to bind off with. Bind off. Weave in ends. Scarf will be approximately 4 inches by 55 inches.

V shaped scarf
(Bottom scarf) Cast on 3 stitches on size 15 needle and knit every row in garter stitch. At the beginning of each row; knit 1, Make 1, knit across the row. Continue to knit and increase at the beginning of each row. Save enough yarn so that you have 4 times the width of the scarf left to finish the bind off. Bind off all stitches and weave in ends. Scarf will be about 44 inches wide by 12 inches deep.
